Always been a great experience! Tip, sit outside and order Olas Old Fashion. Can't miss!

Absolutely fabulous Italian dining experience! Every time I've been I can always expect great service and delectable food. They started me off with complimentary bread and the most vibrant, gorgeously colored pesto infused butter I've ever seen--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I ordered the tricolore salad, which was crisp, perfectly dressed, and a refreshing start to the meal. The highlight, though, was the cacio e pepe pasta. Simple, classic, but executed with perfection-the noodles were tender, the cheese and pepper perfectly balanced. Everything felt authentic and made with care. A true gem for lovers of Italian cuisine!

We've had the pleasure of dining at Vic & Ola's on multiple occasions. The dinner menu is fabulous, but our favorite time of day to go is Happy Hour. They have several excellent items on the Happy Hour menu that includes food and drinks. Our favorites are the Pomodoro and the Cacio e Pepe. They have a killer gin and tonic and interesting (and delicious) Old Fashion made with walnut bitters. While sitting at the bar, if you're lucky enough to be served by Colton, you'll be experiencing something special.

Just over a week ago, after reaching the summit of Pinnacle Peak while rock climbing, we were hungry after a long day. We were in the mood for Italian but not pizza and I came across photos of this place. The patio looked very open and inviting so we opted to come here and enjoy some Italian food. When we arrived, we realized it was a bit fancier than we anticipated inside the restaurant, where one might enjoy a special occasion. Luckily, we were there much earlier than the dinner crowd closer to 4pm, so we were able to eat and enjoy the nice weather outside on the cute patio. The whipped ricotta appetizer was the favorite out of our group. We also really enjoyed the arancini which had beef and pork. I ordered the Osso buco and it was cooked to perfection! My hubby had the branzino so we were able to share and try a bit of each. The couple we were with ordered the cod entree and the other, the beet salad. He wasn't able to have a protein in the beet salad though since the only chicken they could add was the chicken wrapped in prosciutto and he wanted the chicken without the prosciutto. He really loved his beet salad but wished he could've had at least chicken on it, Our waiter, Greg, was amazing. He was very attentive and same with the rest of the staff (despite us just coming from climbing outside all day). I had the Bitter Smoke cocktail, which had a smoky mezcal in it. It was worth the try! I usually like smoked flavor anyway! The second drink I had was a traditional aperol spritz. To end dinner, we all share the classic tiramisu! So good!! We highly recommend!

Vic & Ola's is extremely well run on all levels. We ate on the outdoor patio and the staff was extremely friendly. Heat lamps are all over the patio so you will not get cold, so comfortable. The bread with pesto butter is what they start you with. We also ordered the eggplant meatballs which were awesome. My dad and wife ordered the bolognese lasagna (my wife said it's one of the best she has ever had!) It's more on the cheesy / creamy side than meat side. I ordered the lamb chops which were a 10/10 and cooked perfectly. Will be back soon!

Oh Vic & Ola's your food is grand! The atmosphere is gorgeous with the outdoor fireplace, even the place settings, just gorgeous. We ordered the seafood dish with the squid ink pasta, delicious! We also had the lasagna, so so good. Why not 5 stars you ask? I have to tell you I felt like our waiter disliked us from the get go. It took over an hour to get cocktails, it was busy but very well staffed. He just seemed annoyed and that kind of ruined the experience a little bit. I will return, and bring out of towners back to Vic &Ola's, however I will ask for a different server.

I noticed it's been three years, since I gave Vic and Ola's a stellar review. Just here to say, it's still every bit a 5 star experience and more! I love a restaurant the continues to strive to be the best! They just keep improving on customer service, quality of food and providing an intimate dining experience!! We had the pleasure of Landon attending to us again, tonight, and he always gives us great advice on the menu, and never disappoints. I had the Bronzino, chef prepared this dish perfectly! So tender and flavorful with all seasonal accompaniments! Yum! My husband never ventures out much, and ordered the bolognese with spicy sausage.

This was our second time here and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was beautiful as we sat out in the patio which was lit up and had heaters about every 4 to 5 feet so you were not cold and it seemed just right. We were with another couple and my wife and I had the Halibut and she had the Lobster Mezzaluna. The other couple had pork chops and a Pomodora pasta. For drinks, I had what they call a Bitter Smoke and then a Manhattan while my wife had a glass of Cabernet. We decided not to do dessert only because we had some at home waiting. The service started out a little off as the waiter was quite impatient but then again - who knows what was going on for his evening. He did get a little nicer during the evening and it ended on a good note. All-in, we really liked the meal and drinks and will come back. It is worth checking out ! Enjoy!

A friend of mine recently chose this place for her birthday dinner based on a great previous experience here. After looking over the menu, we decided to start off with the beet salad, Sicilian ribs, and the linguine alle vongole to share. The beet salad was light and refreshing, a great combination of textures with a subtle amount of sweetness. The Sicilian ribs was probably my favorite dish of the night. The meat was nice and tender, came off the bone easily and had a light sweetness to it with a hint of spice. The linguine was standard, a few of the clams were a bit overwhelmingly salty. For our main entrees, we decided to order the grilled lamb chops and the halibut. The lamb chops were cooked to medium rare perfection. It wasn't as gamey as I was anticipating which was a plus. The hint of spice in the eggplant caponata was enjoyable. And since you can't have a birthday without dessert, my friend decided to order the traditional buttercake with white chocolate raspberry gelato for us to share. It was hands down probably the best buttercake I've had so far in Arizona. Overall, the ambiance was comfortably modern. The service was cordial and attentive but not so much so that we felt our conversation was constantly interrupted. I will say that almost all our dishes took a good while to come out.
